March Party Ideas
When you use National Days and weeks for your party theme, you could some
fundraising for them as well.
- The 1st of March is St Davids Day. St David is the Patron Saint of Wales. You could decorate or dress in the national colours of Wales - red, white and green. Or dress up as famous Welsh people - Tom Jones, Dylan Thomas, Tommy Cooper, Shirley Bassey, Gwyneth Jones, Bertrand Russell for a start...
- International Women's Day - dress up as a woman you admire, have a purple party, or a fundraiser for a women's cause.
- Maths enthusiasts celebrate Pi Day on March 14th because Pi = 3.1415926535.
It also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday. You could have a maths theme,
circles, or add an "e" and have a pie party - round pies of course.
- St. Patrick's Day is on 17 March each year. Check ideas for a St. Patrick's Day party
- The Ides of March is the 15th March. Julius Caesar was warned to
"beware of the Ides of March". Try a Roman
Empire Party Et tu, Brute
- Elections - Queenslanders are having a state election on March 24, 2012. Queensland politics is rarely boring so share the fun with an election party.
- Celebrate the anniversary of the Eiffel Tower which opened in 30th March, 1889. You could a try French Themed Party,
a landmarks party, or a construction engineering theme.
